The most interesting points of his book were that the linking pattern of the net followed the same pattern as the Einstein-Bose Condensation law for an ideal gas, that links tend to form to what has the most number of links, not necessarily the better link. Whether that's a human behavior in a social sense, or a web designer sense, or a business sense, or a combination of all of the above, it's a pattern. Also the theorem shows it is possible for one hub to dominate ALL of the links.
